Social Events

Each year we hold social events for members of the Lodge, as well as drinks and dinners where friends and family can come along.

In addition, the Province holds a number of regular events and Lodge members are often invited to social events from our sister lodges.

The Light Blue Club
The Light Blue Club, organised by Bro. Freddie Harris, was formed in 2012 as a forum for Masons within the Province to meet socially, debate Masonic issues, become better informed and to enjoy one another’s company.

It's a great way to meet fellow Brethren in a different light to the Lodge atmosphere. Wives, partners and any friends who are Non-Masons are also welcome. Come along and meet old friends and new in a fun, relaxed and informal environment. Membership is automatic and free for all junior Masons, in this case, defined as ‘light blue’, or those progressing towards the office of Worshipful Master and without Provincial Rank.

The Club organises events across the Province, meeting in all the Centres across Leicestershire and Rutland.

This provides a great opportunity to meet new people, share your thoughts on Masonry, ask questions and learn new things!

Alongside our own events, we also co-ordinate Light Blue contingents to attend the various Provincial events which are arranged throughout the year such as dinners and quiz nights. This helps support the Province, continues to provide a good opportunity for younger members to get together across different Lodges. Get Involved! .

Lodge Visits
One of the greatest joys in Masonry is visiting other Lodges, and as a Light Blue Club we have been invited to visit a number of Lodges within and outside the Province. Whether you’ve visited before or not, this is a great chance to see other Lodges in action and enjoy the occasion with other younger Masons.
