Local Charity

The basis of Freemasonry is raising money for charity — both Masonic and non-Masonic. The Leicestershire and Rutland Masonic Charity Association donates about £20,000 a year to non-Masonic charities, and globally masons give nearly £18,000,000. 

Within Leicestershire and Rutland many local charities are supported from our masonic fund and examples of some of the donations over the past years are as follows:
